Senior Product Expert

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Expert to join our team. You will act as a technical lead across a portfolio of pharmaceutical products, ensuring effective product lifecycle management and compliance from raw materials through to final product.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product lifecycle management activities to ensure product robustness and compliance
  • Act as technical lead for product changes, including:
    • New product introductions
    • Process improvements
    • Transfers between sites
  • Conduct product risk assessments, validation, and control strategy development
  • Lead investigations into quality events and implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
  • Manage cross-functional projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise across:
    • Products
    • Processes
    • Sites
  • Support regulatory documentation and change control processes

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and regulated (GxP) environments
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Product lifecycle management
    • Manufacturing processes
  • Experience in:
    • Data analysis
    • Research methods
    • Risk management
  • Understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., ICH guidelines)
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles

Desirable

  • Proven leadership in compliance leadership and quality assurance
  • Experience in pharma operations, retrofits, or new facility startups
