- Temporary staff banks to source temporary staff from an organisation’s own approved pool
- Collaborative staff banks to enable regional healthcare organisations to share and expand their temporary staffing pools
- An innovative rostering solution for flexible, sustainable permanent healthcare staffing
- An Agency Manager simplifying the selection of temporary staff from external agencies
- Patchwork Insights, providing managers with data oversight for staffing trends, shift fill rates, and escalations

The Role
Working within Patchwork’s Product Team (Technology Business Area), this role supports Senior Product Managers who shape and drive the evolution of its workforce management solutions alongside designers through:
- Creating and executing strategic product roadmaps
- Translating complex healthcare processes into intuitive digital experiences
- Collaborating cross-functionally to enhance solutions for NHS organisations
- Cultivating a culture of innovation, quality, and expertise
Senior Product Managers:
- Foster peer-to-peer technical leadership
- Embed design strategies
- Drive product impact within fast-paced scale-up environments

Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Guide the Product Team via mentorship, idea-sharing, and embedding best practices
- Lead agile processes: refining backlogs, writing user stories, and driving squad refinement sessions
- Champion cross-functional collaboration across stakeholders, working without formal authority
Product Management
- Develop multi-disciplinary product roadmaps via discovery and performance tracking
- Define and drive outcomes through backlog ownership and collaboration with Client Operations
- Shape strategic go-to-market and rollout activities across functional teams
Analytics & Insights
- Analyse user feedback, product metrics, sales pipelines, and market intel
- Prioritise backlog items using quantitative/qualitative data and user-centric research
- Track product performance to deliver segment-specific and market-based value
Collaboration
- Engage with external stakeholders (e.g., client meetings) and internal teams across departments
- Explain technical decisions to non-technical audiences for seamless collaboration
- Build strong agile squad relationships and partner with Revenue for go-to-market success
Documentation
- Maintain product 1-pagers and requirement documents while adhering to quality standards
- Refine internal processes to enhance team learning and collaboration
Research & Innovation
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies (e.g., workforce applications), and best practices
- Continuously evaluate tools and methodologies for improvement

Requirements
Essential
- Experience: 4+ years in Product Management within a SaaS or agile environment
- Execution: Proven track record in delivering and measuring value through roadmaps
- Communication: Skilled at cross-functional stakeholder engagement with feedback-driven iterations
- Leadership: Customer-centric mindset, results-driven, emphasising quality
- Mindset: Empathy, adaptability, collaborative drive; aptitude for solving complex problems simply
- Tolerance for Ambiguity: Ability to challenge assumptions and integrate varied perspectives
- Efficiency: Self-starter in fast-moving scale-ups; passion for high-impact, challenging work
- Tech Savviness: Adept at adopting new systems while maintaining attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience launching new-to-market products in healthcare/healthtech
- Background in tech start-ups/scale-ups
- Knowledge of NHS/healthcare industries, workforce solutions or agencies
