The Role:
Join us as a Senior Product Manager at S&P Global Energy, where you will lead the development and delivery of our Agentic AI internal pricing system.
The Team:
Our digital product management team at S&P Global Energy is a dynamic, agile group of experts dedicated to driving innovation and evolution. We enable our internal users to work more efficiently and strengthen our product offerings.
What we’re looking for:
You are naturally curious with a passion for discovering and implementing innovative technology. You are comfortable challenging the way things are done, driving change and bringing people along on the journey. You have a passion for “getting things done” with the highest standards. You are user-oriented; user over features, state of art experience over legacy constraints. You leverage your analytical and technical skills to deliver creative yet pragmatic solutions. You can interact with stakeholders from different backgrounds (product, technology, editorial, operations) delivering a consistent message of digital innovation based on sustainable execution.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap for our next-gen internal pricing ecosystem.
- Understand commodity trading and pricing workflows to translate pain points into reimagined, AI-enabled user workflows that save time, enhance our products, and shorten time to market.
- Translate workflow needs into product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Design and deliver agentic AI workflows (e.g. data collection, ingestion, and transformation) with clear human-in-the-loop controls and guardrails to maintain editorial integrity.
- Partner with engineering to ensure scalable handling of large datasets and reliable platform integration.
- Lead cross-functional delivery (engineering, price reporting, compliance, operations, UX) to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Drive rapid experimentation to quickly deliver measurable efficiency gains.
- Define success metrics, track, and report progress against these.
- Champion enterprise-level thinking e.g. reusable components and platform, APIs.
About you:
Qualifications
You have:
- 7+ years in Product Management with platform and workflow products.
- Proven ownership of developing and delivering roadmaps across multiple teams.
- Experience modernising or rebuilding legacy platforms into modular, API-first ecosystems.
- Demonstrated delivery of agentic AI or multi-step AI automation in production: task decomposition, tool use/function calling, workflow orchestration, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Strong grasp of LLM product risks, controls, and quality metrics.
- A stronger user mindset, with ability to translate user needs into valuable product features.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with both Agile Scrum and Lean methodologies, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency in product management.
- Comfort working in settings where accuracy and governance are as important as speed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
