The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager for European Payment to build, shape, and scale our pan-European payment infrastructure—an early and high-impact opportunity to define a critical function from scratch.
This is a collaborative yet autonomous role where you’ll:
- Partner closely with the Group Product Manager & Operations Lead to design the European trading roadmap, balancing stakeholder needs with long-term vision.
- Lead a cross-functional squad (engineers, ops, clients) to solve scalability challenges in regulated markets.
- Own end-to-end decisions, from refining strategy to validating solutions, mentoring teams, and driving impact.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
✅ Define European payment strategy & roadmap – Align immediate client demands with scalable platform growth, balancing speed, risk, and customer value in a heavily regulated space.
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders –
- Work with European clients to translate needs into actionable product features.
- Align UK-based product & engineering teams to adapt capabilities for European markets.
- Advise on tooling & automation, collaborating with ops and engineering to solve complex workflows.
✅ Prioritise & execute with ownership –
- Break down ambiguous, high-impact problems into clear engineering backlogs and commercial plans.
- Make evidence-based trade-offs using qualitative (user research) and quantitative (data-driven) insights.
- Mentor junior product managers, sharing best practices and shaping engagement strategies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
