Senior Product Manager | Insurance Technology

Broking & Reinsurance

Location: City of London
Working pattern: 4 days per week in the office
Salary: £90,000 - £135,000 base + benefits + discretionary annual bonus

We are supporting a fast-growing global insurance and reinsurance business with the appointment of a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of technology products across its Broking and Reinsurance operations.

This is a newly created role for someone who understands the London Market, can operate confidently across business and technology teams, and has a strong track record delivering complex insurance technology platforms.

The successful candidate will take ownership of product management across broking and reinsurance products, working closely with senior business stakeholders, operational teams, and engineering teams to define requirements, prioritise delivery, manage roadmaps, and ensure successful adoption.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the product agenda for broking and reinsurance technology platforms
  • Gather, document, and prioritise business requirements, defects, enhancements, and new product features
  • Translate business needs into BRDs, PRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and sprint reviews
  • Lead UAT, business sign-off, go-live readiness, training, and post-launch adoption
  • Work closely with offshore/distributed engineering teams to ensure delivery remains on track
  • Shape the roadmap for a new reinsurance platform covering placement, policy administration, claims, finance, compliance, bordereaux, IBA, and contract management
  • Identify opportunities to use AI and automation across insurance operations
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across underwriting, claims, finance, compliance, operations, and technology
  • Support both Agile product delivery and more structured waterfall delivery for BAU change

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
