đź§ Navigating the position: Senior Product Manager
As Senior Product Manager, you will define, build and lead solution-oriented products and propositions that deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes across Lloyd’s Register’s different product lines. You will shape strategy, drive prioritisation and work across compliance, advisory and digital portfolios to create scalable solutions that address customer needs, market opportunities and business priorities.

This is a senior role with responsibility for translating customer challenges and strategic priorities into clear product direction, effective delivery and strong commercial outcomes. You will operate across product, commercial, operations and technology teams, ensuring that solutions are outcome-focused, repeatable and aligned to Lloyd’s Register’s broader maritime strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Own the full product lifecycle for solution-oriented products and services — from market discovery and concept through to launch, iteration and long-term growth.
- Define and communicate a compelling product vision grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, business priorities and the strategic direction of Lloyd’s Register’s portfolio.
- Establish and maintain the product roadmap, making clear prioritisation decisions that balance customer value, commercial opportunity, operational fit and technical feasibility.
- Act as a senior product leader across relevant solution areas, shaping how the business develops, positions and monetises differentiated offerings.
Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as a senior stakeholder voice on solution design and product direction, ensuring decisions are aligned to customer outcomes and business strategy.
- Lead alignment across commercial, product, operations and technology teams — cutting through complexity to keep cross-functional teams moving in the same direction.
- Build trusted relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders, acting as a strategic partner who understands their objectives and helps deliver measurable outcomes.
- Represent the product and solution portfolio externally at industry forums, customer briefings and partner discussions where required.
Commercial Outcomes
- Partner closely with commercial leadership to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing approaches and value propositions for relevant products and solution areas.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the portfolio — including upsell, cross-sell, adjacent use cases and new market opportunities.
- Contribute to business cases, pipeline development and commercial strategy where products and solutions intersect with customer engagements.

Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead the design of customer-facing solutions that translate complex data, workflows and domain expertise into intuitive, high-value products and services.
- Ensure solutions are built with scalability and longevity in mind — avoiding one-off customisations in favour of reusable, portfolio-aligned capabilities
Programme & Delivery Leadership
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from discovery through to execution, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver on time and on brief
- Define success metrics, track progress against them and communicate clearly to senior leadership on risk, progress and outcomes
- Champion agile, iterative delivery practices while maintaining a clear view of the longer-term roadmap
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in senior product management, ideally in a B2B technology, services or data-driven environment.
- Proven ability to understand customer problems, market dynamics and operational contexts, and translate them into clear product strategy and outcome-focused roadmaps.
- Proven ability to own and drive a product or solution from early concept through to delivery, adoption and commercial scale.
- Strong commercial acumen — comfortable working with sales and commercial teams, contributing to revenue strategy and understanding the economics of a product-led business.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and credibility to operate effectively at senior levels internally and externally.
- Experience leading cross-functional programmes and aligning diverse teams around common goals and measurable outcomes.
Desirable
- Background in regulated, technical or solution-led industries, with the ability to work across complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience with data products, analytics platforms, workflow tools or decision-support solutions.
- Familiarity with product operating models, portfolio management and the delivery of scalable customer solutions.
- Track record of launching new products, entering new markets or evolving existing offerings to meet changing customer and business needs.
