Senior Product Manager for Business Banking £100,000–£125,000 (depending on experience) + performance-based incentives + benefits London or Remote in the UK 📍 Product at Monzo

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager for Business Banking, you’ll define the future of how UK businesses manage their money. This unique opportunity lets you drive one of Monzo’s most strategically significant product areas, leading cross-functional teams to develop groundbreaking, customer-obsessed solutions that rival incumbents can’t replicate.

You’ll own Monzo’s Spend Management domain, focusing on how small businesses empower teams to collaborate safely, simplify workflows, and maintain control. Core areas include:

  • Team banking: Give businesses the ability to grant specific payment access to employees, vendors, or freelancers with tailored permissions.
  • Approval workflows: Streamline invoicing, reimbursements, and expenses with transparent approval processes.
  • Expense card management: Assign, monitor, and track corporate cards with active analytics and controls.
  • Delegation tools: Arm business owners with the means to delegate authority without exposing financial risks.

The landscape is ripe for disruption—many small businesses wrestle with clunky traditional banking, overpriced finance platforms, or outdated tools that ignore how modern workforces operate. Monzo wants to change this by putting control, simplicity, and real-world collaboration at the heart of business banking.

You’ll work with teams to craft a customer-first strategy, set bold product vision, and galvanise execution. We’re seeking a ramp,” product sense meets analytical rigour—someone comfortable with ambiguity, who motivates teams to build world-class outcomes.

Responsibilities

You’ll drive impact through clarity of vision, execution discipline and collaborative ownership:

  • Lead product strategy and vision: Shape a long-term strategy for Spend Management that aligns with Monzo’s business goals and delights customers. Define why, what, and how you’ll breakthrough with your product area.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Bridging ambition and reality: Translate product decisions into effective delivery—balancing vision with creativity against technical and organisational constraints.

  • Inspire and communicate effectively: Articulate the vision, priorities, and trade-offs with stakeholders (internal and external) to rally people around shared goals.

  • Collaborate across disciplines: Partner seamlessly with engineering, design, user research, data scientists, and subject matter experts (e.g. finance, fraud) to tackle multi-layered challenges.

  • Measure and evolve: Define how to track impact—through key metrics, qualitative insights, and continuous improvement—ensuring features are effective, scalable, and customers-obsessed.

Requirements

We’re looking for entrepreneurial thinkers who’ve delivered at scale in fast-growing companies with a record of solving messy problems in an adaptive way. Bring your strengths in these areas:

  • Proficient product leadership: At least 8+ years’ product management experience, including ownership of multiple full product lifecycles at a company that prioritises customers and technology. Patently depress, grow consumer-facing products that deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Data and results thinking: Comfortable translating business problems into quantifiable goals (e.g. through experiments, A/B testing, collaborative analysis) with co-authors, ML/datascience}}{{ teams. You thrive by synthesising data, customer behaviour, and KKs into actionable insights for both users and stakeholders.

  • Break down complexity: Unwilling to be held back by messiness—you enjoy analysing frameworks (e.g. Jobs-to-be-Done, user flows) to mitigate risk and idea how you want it such an environment or can reliably navigate ambiguity.

  • Decisive judgement: Experience saying “no” to tactical defaults when new thinking could yield better outcomes—balancing technical pragmatism with bold innovation.

  • Product taste and trailblazing alchemy: Flavour enterprise and B2B products. Can see how technology transforms workflows and underinvestited markets from consumer experience. Drive towards differentiating, aspirational features that feel fresh, trusted, and obvius.
