We put people first. It’s all about you.
We are looking for a commercially driven, Senior Product Manager to lead our Cashback Card digital product strategy. This clever pre-pay card is topped up by customers via our app and used for everyday shopping. It gives them up to 10% cashback with our retail partners and 1% everywhere else, with their total savings automatically credited straight off their next monthly UW bill.
Job Description
We deliver progress. What you’ll do and how you will make an impact.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will take a forward-looking view of the team's strategy, driving alignment and delivery of a product roadmap across the entire lifecycle of software development. You will find and implement key opportunities to leverage the cashback card as a major driver of engagement for the wider UW ecosystem and our mobile app.
Your key responsibilities:
- Strategic impact: Developing multi-quarter business cases, tracking OKRs, and defining a clear one-year product vision while managing complex trade-offs.
- Product adoption: Driving active adoption and usage of the card while maximising engagement with our retail partnerships.
- Technical mastery: Specifying cross-team features and executing A/B tests to drive the overall product strategy.
- Planning & delivery: Leading end-to-end delivery of major initiatives and driving high-stakes strategic choices and go-to-market execution.
- Operational excellence: Aligning diverse teams on domain strategy and delivering compelling narratives to executive leadership to resolve strategic issues.

Your team's purpose is to own the product strategy and lifecycle for the UW Cashback card. Together, you will connect the dots across different business areas to remove dependencies and make sure our brand lives up to its promise of absolute simplicity for our customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
