Scope of the Role

Position Overview

As Senior Product Manager, you’ll own and accelerate high-impact product workstreams at the intersection of Financial Services connectivity and observable resilience.

Key Product LinesGeneos & ITRS Analytics (IAX)—the monitoring & observability platform used by 90% of Tier 1 banks to ensure:
  • Resilience of low-latency trading infrastructures
  • Monitoring of core banking & payments
  • Security & observability of market data pipelines | | Target Industries | Capital markets, exchanges, clearing firms, and digital financial assets | | Role Impact | Convert regulatory tailwinds (DORA, MIFID II, etc.) and market trends into shippable, revenue-generating products with ARR impact. | | Work Style | Hybrid (London HQ)—collaborative across platform, AI, GTM, and Customer Success |

Responsibilities

You’ll bridge the gap between client needs and technical & business execution, ensuring alignment on strategy, delivery, and commercial growth.

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Define cross-quarterly product strategy for:
    • Financial Services Resilience (applications, trade/payment fabric, digital connectivity)
    • Trading Room Resilience (real-time and reconnection whiteboarding)
    • Market Data Observability (a new product line for monitoring low-latency feed handlers, ticker plants, and API long-tail resilience)
  • Partner with Agentic AI / SRE teams to integrate LLM/autonomous operations workflows in highly regulated environments, ensuring compliance (PRA, MAS, APRA CPS 230, DORA).
  • Collaborate with Finance & Revenue Operations to create commercial constructs—pricing, packaging, and scalable ARR drivers for charting/fixing subscriptions.
  • Backend delivery alignment: Translate strategy into Engineering roadmaps with clear OKRs and quarterly commitments.

Product-Driven Business Results

  • Customer immersion: Spend 50%+ of time conversing with Tier 1 financial service leaders (CapMkt CTOs, Chief Risk Officers, Heads of Market Data, FIX Forum members).
  • Product/regulatory consensus: Lead strategy workshops with regulatory bodies, MDI forums, and financial technology communities.
  • Platinum advocacy: Represent ITRS externally at:
    • Customer councils (e.g., JP Morgan, HSBC market data IACs)
    • Industry roundtables (Bloomberg MarketWatch, NASDAQ APIs)
    • Analyst events (Gartner Peer Insights, Forrester Wave)

Product Management Leadership

  • Inspire the product pipeline: Raise standards for discovery, roadmapping, and execution across the Financial Services team, simplifying Alpha/Beta/GA mobilization.
  • Mentor peers: Elevate cross-team alignment (Fundamentals PM → Head of Marketing → Revenue Recognition) for parallel teams.
  • Economic impact: Scale Gen1 customers → Gen2 SaaS commitments with product-led pricing for sub-$5M ARR expansion.

Requirements

Essential

Talent & Experience

  • 10+ years in Product Management, moving data-intensive products into regulated industries (financial services, life sciences, energy).
  • Enterprise B2B commercial depth: Proven track record with Tier 1 clients, contributing >20% to company revenue growth.
  • Leadership in contexts requiring regulatory/industry-specific navigation (e.g., Low Latency Ecology, Unintentional Latency Root Cause Analysis, framework upgrades).

Technical & Domain Expertise

  • Domain-specific knowledge:
    • Capital markets front office (FIX protocol, OMS/EMS, latency-measurement tech)
    • Market data infrastructure (feed handler, kernel-bypass hardware, Solarflare capture methods)
    • Industrial layer market stacks (FIX, semantic network extensions)
    • Compliance frameworks (SEBI, APRA CPS 230, MAS, PRA) on a product-led contribution basis.
  • Observability first:
    • OpenTelemetry, structured encoding, and LTL-first instrumentation
    • APM + Synthetic Testing for cross-network reliability
    • Cloud-native exception management (KeyRocket manner)

Customer Engagement

  • Senior-facing relationships: History of driving board-level discussions with SREs, Head of Market Data, Chief Information Officers, Head of Latency.
  • Commercial awareness: Pricing construct creativity (current vs. legacy tiering) and its role in buying intent.

Desired

  • Involvement in pivotal AI scale-ups:
    • Agentic AI within compositionalヤdevice (e.g., language empowered cloud trace) use cases
    • AI-powered developer ops that needs to pass PRA/SR14-21 testing
  • Collaboration with teams enabling Single Event Crowd-targeting in financial and market stacks.
  • Experience in scale market design initiatives (e.g., marketplace hooks for multi-federation)
