Description
Global Tax Services are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Product Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for tax technology solutions that support Amazon's global tax compliance obligations. The Tax Product Manager serves as the strategic owner at the intersection of tax compliance, data infrastructure, and technology translating complex tax requirements into scalable product solutions that enable long-term growth. The Product Manager must possess comprehensive knowledge of global tax (e.g. VAT/GST) regulations and accounting principles, demonstrate capability in analyzing and reconciling substantial datasets, and exhibit sound business acumen to drive process improvements and operational efficiency. We are a growing team looking for someone eager to learn tax technology, master ambiguity, improve existing tax processes, and contribute to shaping new ones.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for tax data and reporting solutions, prioritizing features that address compliance requirements, data quality, and scalability across multiple jurisdictions
- Define and communicate business requirements for tax reporting configurations, partnering with engineering teams to ensure business rule logic aligns with tax compliance obligations and product standards
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for tax data flows — from requirements definition through delivery — identifying gaps, driving resolution, and validating that system outputs meet compliance and business requirements
- Serve as a strategic business partner for new corporate initiatives, bridging communication between technical teams and business stakeholders across tax, finance, and operations to drive scalable implementations
- Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for tax technology solutions in alignment with business priorities and compliance obligations
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities to identify discrepancies, data quality issues, and validate data integrity across complex system environments
- Proven ability to partner with and influence business stakeholders on strategic programs, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Drive product adoption and change management for new tax technology implementations, measuring success through defined KPIs and outcome metrics

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
