Senior Product Manager, AI Agents | Build what comes after the chatbot | UK / Remote
The Opportunity
Enterprise software is moving from automation to autonomy, and my client is building the agentic AI layer that will redefine how the world's biggest companies hire. They are a leading recruitment technology company, recently acquired by one of the largest enterprise software firms on the planet, still operating independently with startup pace behind a global platform.
This is a blank page for the hardest, most autonomous agents. Not chatbots, not content generators, but agents that reason through messy, multi-step work and know when to act and when to bring a human in. You will own that agentic layer from the ground up, inside an established, already-shipping AI org rather than a standing start.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and ship high-complexity, decision-reasoning AI agents end to end, from discovery through to production
- Turn messy, multi-step workflows into reliable agentic systems, with clear guardrails and human escalation paths
- Build the evaluation frameworks that keep non-deterministic models accurate, safe and trustworthy
- Define the reusable agent patterns and tool-calling standards every other product team builds on
- Work shoulder to shoulder with AI engineers and researchers, and test your work directly with enterprise customers

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered products or agents into production, with genuine multi-step reasoning, tool use and conditional logic
- A real obsession with evaluation and quality: evals, memory, context management and confidence thresholds
- Proven zero-to-one product leadership, turning ambiguous problems into shipped systems
- Enough technical depth to talk prompt architecture, tool calling, context windows and model choice as a peer to engineers
- Low ego, high velocity, outcomes over process
Nice to Have:
- Experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, or an equally complex consumer, fintech or e-commerce environment (strong B2C builders very welcome)
- Exposure to talent, recruitment or HR technology
- A background in fast-scaling, high-bar product teams or a frontier AI lab

The Practicalities
- Fully remote, UK preferred, with a London office available when you want it!
- Contract to 2027 with a strong likelihood of converting to permanent, outside IR35
