The Personalization Team
The Personalization team makes deciding what to play next easier and more enjoyable for every listener. From Blend to Discover Weekly, we’re behind some of Spotify’s most-loved features. We built them by understanding the world of music and podcasts better than anyone else. Join us and you’ll keep millions of users listening by making great recommendations to each and every one of them.
Spotify is building the future of music, podcasts, and audio experiences — and conversational AI is a key part of that journey. Within our Conversation Product Area, we’re creating the platform that powers intelligent, interactive experiences across Spotify.
In this role, you’ll lead the Agent Platform — the foundation behind experiences like AI DJ, Prompted Playlists, and integrations with partners such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Alexa. You’ll help bring these systems together into a unified platform that enables teams across Spotify to build consistent, high-quality conversational experiences.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Agent Platform that powers conversational experiences across Spotify
- Build a unified platform that supports features like AI DJ, Search, Prompted Playlists, and partner integrations
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to understand their needs and improve how they build and scale agent-based experiences
- Shape the tools, capabilities, and integrations the platform provides, balancing immediate product needs with long-term scalability
- Define and track metrics that measure agent performance, including quality, reliability, latency, and cost
- Partner with engineering, design, and product leaders to align priorities and deliver on shared goals
- Ensure strong observability, evaluation, and monitoring capabilities are built into the platform
- Stay up to date with advances in AI and conversational systems, and apply those insights to evolve the platform

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
