SAP Integration Product Manager – FloQast

About the Role

FloQast’s SAP integration is integral to positioning us as the home base for SAP-running companies. As SAP Integration Product Manager, you will:

  • Lead product strategy and execution for FloQast’s SAP integration, ensuring seamless workflows and playbooks function effectively within SAP ecosystems.
  • Operate at the intersection of deep SAP technical expertise and accounting domain knowledge, collaborating with Product, Engineering, customers, and go-to-market (GTM) teams.
  • Drive adoption so that FloQast workflows, playbooks, and products run successfully using SAP data and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and incubate product functionality for FloQast’s SAP integration, ensuring all workflows, playbooks, and processes harness SAP financial data effectively.
  • Own end-to-end integration design, covering:
    • Connectivity patterns
    • Data extraction methods (e.g., ABAP, oData, BTP)
    • Architecture for mapping SAP financial data into FloQast’s canonical models.
  • Adhere to various SAP deployment models (On-Premise, Private Cloud, Public Cloud (RISE/GROW), and HEC) to ensure a comprehensive integration strategy across all customer environments.
  • Translate SAP FI-CO process knowledge (e.g., period-end close, subledger reconciliation, journal entries, controlling) into product requirements and designs.
  • Act as the SAP product authority when collaborating with Engineering, providing expertise on:
    • Data structures
    • Configuration dependencies
    • Integration constraints.
  • Engage with customers and partners to:
    • Capture SAP-specific needs
    • Validate integration designs
    • Facilitating successful deployments.
  • Support GTM teams in crafting the FloQast-SAP value narrative, emphasizing:
    • How the integration streamlines financial close processes
    • Process improvements and measurable value for SAP-based accounting teams.
  • Drive adoption of FloQast workflows/playbooks in SAP environments, achieving metrics around processes running on SAP ERP data.

Requirements

As the SAP Integration Product Manager, you will bring 5+ years of experience in SAP FI-CO, ideally within technology, products, consulting, or advisory activities related to financial closing functions.

  • Deep expertise in SAP FI-CO:
    • General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, cost centre accounting
    • Mastery of the period-end close cycle.
  • Technical familiarity with:
    • ABAP programming
    • oData services
    • SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP deployment models (On-Premise, Private Cloud, Public Cloud (RISE/GROW), HEC) and their impact on integration approaches.
  • Strong grasp of accounting processes, close cadences, and financial controls within SAP environments.
  • Ability to (technical + business-level) fluency—credible with engineering teams when discussing architecture, and persuasive with customers when explaining process value.
  • Dual capability as a hands-on builder (designing SAP integration requirements, specifications) and a storyteller (constructing GTM narratives, partnering with customers).
  • Experience with financial close software, including FloQast, BlackLine, or similar solutions.
  • Awareness of SAP S/4HANA migration patterns, including differences in data modelling and integration approaches compared to ECC6.
  • Product management expertise in a B2B SaaS context, or hands-on collaboration with product teams to translate SAP domain knowledge into the roadmap.

Compensation

$0–$0 (range is variable, based on role demands)
