Job Introduction

Senior Product Manager

£55,000 - £65,000 Per Annum, Dependent On Experience

Folkestone Hybrid (at least 3 days a week)

As Senior Product Manager, you'll travel extensively across your destination portfolio, representing Saga at the highest level while identifying exceptional hotels, experiences and touring opportunities that will strengthen and evolve our award-winning holidays.

Using your commercial expertise, you'll lead complex contract negotiations with hotel and destination partners, securing market-leading commercial agreements that deliver exceptional value for money, quality and long-term strategic benefit. You'll also be responsible for robust contract governance, ensuring supplier agreements are effectively managed, commercially optimised, compliant and aligned with our business objectives throughout their lifecycle.

Product development will be at the heart of what you do. You'll bring innovative ideas to life, creating inspiring new tours and hotel stays in key destinations that are carefully designed around the needs of our customers. Combining customer insight with commercial awareness, you'll develop products that offer something distinctive, deliver exceptional value and reinforce Saga's reputation for high-quality, expertly curated holidays.

As a senior member of the team, you'll also support and develop colleagues, sharing your travel industry expertise and helping to build a collaborative, high-performing culture where ideas are encouraged, and success is shared.

When not travelling abroad, this role requires you to be working from our Folkestone office a minimum of 3 times a week. We have designated office space for colleagues in our Travel business, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a function. There will be occasional trips to London as well as the requirement for overseas travel, sometimes with minimal notice.

Role Responsibility

As our new Senior Product Manager you will be responsible seeking out potential new suppliers, managing commercial relationships with existing ones.

Other accountabilities will include:

  • Conducting face-to-face meetings with suppliers and potential suppliers, negotiating contracts in line with commercial targets.
  • Working closely with colleagues in the Product and Commercial teams to ensure that product is contracted at the target rates within agreed deadlines for marketing campaigns.
  • Product development of new tours and hotel stays, opening new destinations and expanding existing markets in line with the product plan.
  • Building strong supplier relationships, ensuring optimum account management.
  • Instilling a deep understanding of the Saga brand in existing and potential suppliers and investing time and effort in building supplier networks.
  • Driving and delivering contributions from tourist boards to optimise marketing and promotion opportunities and improve product performance.
  • Championing your product within the company, liaising with counterparts in Sales, Marketing and Studio to ensure optimum sales delivery.
  • Supporting the Director of Product in delivering the product strategy and five-year plan, including proposing new development ideas.
  • Delivering products that meet quality expectations – helping to improve product scores where necessary and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with target NPS and other metrics.
  • Monitoring sales patterns and taking action to increase capacity and demand when necessary.
  • Attending trade fairs and travel conferences, representing the company at the highest level.
  • Ensuring optimum product presentation at all times whether via digital, web or print.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
