The Platform Team
The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers.
User Platform owns Spotify's Consumer and Business Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform. Put simply, we're the front door to Spotify. We build the experiences and capabilities that enable people to securely access Spotify across consumer, creator, business and partner products while helping the rest of the company make trusted decisions using high-quality identity data.
As Spotify continues to grow, our identity platform has evolved well beyond a traditional consumer account model. Today it supports consumers, creators, advertisers, employees, managed accounts, connected devices and emerging AI-powered experiences. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the next generation of our User Platform strategy across account lifecycle management, IAM analytics, and device and client trust. This is a highly strategic platform role with direct impact on growth, safety, subscriptions, advertising, personalization, compliance and future product innovation.
What You'll Do
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of User Platform products spanning account lifecycle management, IAM analytics, and device and client intelligence.
- Partner closely with engineering managers, staff engineers, data scientists, analytics engineers, designers, researchers and insights teams to shape product direction and deliver long-term platform value.
- Collaborate across missions, studios and product areas to ensure Spotify's identity and user data platform evolves to meet business and customer needs.
- Help build Spotify's account lifecycle platform with well-defined account states, governed lifecycle transitions and comprehensive audit capabilities supporting Engineering, Customer Service, Legal and partner teams.
- Lead the product vision for User Intelligence, the shared platform that enables trusted understanding of users, devices and sessions through reusable signals and APIs.
- Partner with teams across User Fraud, Subscriptions, Advertising, Personalization, Safety, Legal and Platform to ensure trusted identity data becomes a strategic input for decision making.
- Translate complex identity, trust and data challenges into clear product strategies, business outcomes and prioritization decisions.
- Define success metrics including platform adoption, signal quality, data trust, lifecycle diagnosis time, decision latency and reduction of fragmented local solutions.
- Balance long-term platform investments with near-term business priorities, regulatory requirements and user experience.
- Foster an effective product operating rhythm across multiple squads by creating clarity, alignment and shared ownership that enables teams to move with confidence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
