As a member of the Automotive Software Ecosystem team you will have the opportunity to build upon your existing background, knowledge and expertise of using software development tools, open-source and commercial ecosystem projects, e.g. Virtual Platform technologies, Linux, Android, and Automotive open-source projects. This position will work with Arm's ecosystem partners to enable both commercial and open-source implementations and optimizations of key software system components to drive the development of extraordinary system software for ARM based hardware and software platforms catering to the automotive segment.
This system software will serve as a reference for futuristic ARM based automotive central compute server technology. We seek software developers who are strongly interested in developing deep technical knowledge and engaging with our partners via storytelling and demonstrations to showcase ARM's automotive software capabilities.

Responsibilities
Identify, architect, and drive innovative and scalable software and firmware solutions across the Arm automotive ecosystem. Compose reference solutions using Arm's partner offerings on virtual and physical platforms showcasing Arm's focused tools and performance analyzers. Educate communities through talks, webinars, and live demonstrations. Collaborate with Arm marketing teams to build outbound collaterals to showcase Arm technology. Work closely with other Arm lines of business to leverage use-cases, sample applications, enablement for Automotive. Ensure data privacy, security, and ethical considerations in all data initiatives.

Required Experience
Experience in open-source or commercial firmware. Experience in Linux or Android Application development. Experience in developing software written preferably in C. Expertise in debugging and optimizing complex software systems. Expertise in crafting application and middleware software demonstrations on various platforms within IoT or Automotive domains GitHub and/or GitLab CI awareness
“Nice To Have”
Experience working in the open-source community. We value understanding of open-source project development cycles and contribution processes. Familiar with real-time/deterministic software engineering concepts. Familiar with one or more programming languages such as Python and Rust Familiar with automotive safety critical (ISO26262) software development practices. Good understanding on ARM-V8, ARM-V9 architectures, SMMU or IO-MMUs. Familiarity with industry standards such as ACPI and UEFI. Familiarity with virtual prototyping technologies.

Salary Range
£80,100 - £108,300 per year
