The Role
We are expanding our Product Marketing team, focusing on Elasticsearch & AI, to drive the Elastic Serverless platform’s go-to-market strategy.
This role is your opportunity to bridge technical depth with compelling, developer-focused marketing. You’ll act as a trusted technical partner to the product team, crafting outbound strategies, defining messaging, and creating content that resonates with developers, SREs, and technical decision-makers.
As a Product Marketing Lead for Elastic Serverless, you’ll:
- Shape technical product positioning and messaging around the Elisabeth platform.
- Drive awareness and adoption via content (blogs, tutorials, videos, webinars).
- Empower the sales and internal teams with pitch decks, playbooks, and enablement.
- Cultivate strategic relationships within the developer and partner ecosystem.
- Collaborate on product launches, producing materials like:

- Strategy & Market Leadership
- Own the developer and SRE-focused technical product marketing strategy for Elastic Serverless.
- Deep tech understanding to interpret product capability and market insights.

Content Creation & Storytelling
- Develop compelling narratives that bridge technical functionality and business value.
- Author high-quality content (blogs, marketing assets, technical documentation) that educates and influences technical audiences.

Internal & External Advocacy
- Present and embody product expertise—internally (webinars, trainings) and externally (events, analyst meetings).
- Act as an evangelist for Elastic AI across grassroots and senior stakeholders.

GTM & Partnerships
- Support developer-focused campaigns, events, and partnerships to expand market influence.
- Ensure alignment between marketing, engineering, and product teams for unified messaging.

Enabling the Field
- Train and upskill the sales organization with technical insights and sales enablement materials.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of Product Marketing experience in a technical or deep tech industry (SaaS, AI, infrastructure, or data solutions preferred).
- Proven ability to market complex technical products to developers, engineers, or SREs.
- A natural curiosity for technology—you don’t just explain end results; you connect the "how" seamlessly with the "why."
- A passion for cultivating relationships across functions (PM, Engineering, Community) to achieve shared goals.
- Exceptional communication skills—oral and written—able to simplify alongside technical foresight.
- Experience crafting GTM plans and producing high-calibre content (slides, videos, written guides).

- Direct experience with developers, DevOps, or application builders.
- Prior product marketing work with AI, vector databases, or infrastructure tools.
- Contributions to open knowledge (developer-focused blogs, hackathons, or advocacy).
- Familiarity with vector search, Elasticsearch, or related ecosystems.
