Senior Product Operations Manager – United Kingdom
About the Role This position is listed on behalf of a partner company (handled entirely by their internal team), currently seeking a Senior Product Operations Manager based in the United Kingdom.
Playing a pivotal role at the intersection of product, data, and business strategy, this position is focused on transforming product usage insights into clear, actionable business impact. You will:
- Guide how product performance is tracked, measured, and leveraged across the organisation.
- Build scalable analytics frameworks and self-service tools, empowering product and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions with confidence.
- Partner closely with engineering, data, and product leadership to ensure data integrity, metric consistency, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Translate complex analytical findings into insightful narratives that shape roadmap prioritisation and executive decision-making.
Ideal for a strategic, fast-paced SaaS with hands-on operational experience, this is a high-impact opportunity for a data-driven leader.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead deep-dive analyses of user behaviour, product performance, retention metrics, and revenue opportunities to identify growth and optimisation opportunities.
- Design and maintain scalable reporting frameworks, linking key product metrics to critical business outcomes—including retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop self-service analytics tools (dashboards, templates) that enable internal stakeholders—notably product team members—to independently access and act on data.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to:
- Define and implement event tracking standards.
- Refine data models for accuracy and scalability.
- Enforce governance and instrumentation best practices.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across analytics platforms and business intelligence tools.
- Translate statistical insights into simple, compelling narratives, tailoring findings for roadmap priorities and executive-level discussions.

Requirements
- 5–8+ years of demonstrated experience in Product Operations, Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, or closely related data-driven roles, with a focus on translating metrics into strategy.
- Proven success in building or scaling product analytics within SaaS or platform environments.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with BI/analytics tools, including:
- Looker
- Amplitude
- Mixpanel (or equivalent platforms).
- Deep technical understanding of:
- KPI design and tracking.
- Data modeling frameworks.
- Event-based tracking and product instrumentation.
- Relevant experience connecting product usage data to executive strategic goals and financial outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills—ability to simplify complex data for diverse stakeholders, from engineers to leadership.
- Highly organised, process-driven mindset with remarkable cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Strategic acumen to balance vision with execution, blending big-picture impact with tactical implementation.
