Senior Product QA Tester
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product QA Tester based in United Kingdom.
As a Senior Product QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, usability, and reliability of a fast-evolving digital product used by millions of users across Europe. Working in a highly iterative, AI-driven development environment, you will own the QA process from feature development through production release. Beyond identifying bugs, you will evaluate product behavior, challenge UX decisions, and anticipate business risks to help shape a better user experience. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product leadership, providing structured, actionable feedback that drives rapid improvements. This role is ideal for a proactive QA professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces ambiguity, and enjoys influencing product quality at every stage of development.
Accountabilities
- Own the end-to-end QA process for every product release, ensuring features are thoroughly validated before deployment.
- Test complete user journeys across the web application, identifying functional issues, edge cases, logical inconsistencies, UX concerns, and technical or data-related risks.
- Provide clear, structured, and prioritized feedback that enables developers to resolve issues efficiently and improve overall product quality.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership throughout short development iterations, helping refine features even when specifications are evolving.
- Evaluate product decisions from both user and business perspectives, proactively challenging workflows or designs when improvements can be made.
- Contribute to the evolution of QA processes by leveraging AI-powered testing tools and promoting efficient, risk-based testing practices.

Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior QA or product quality role with strong autonomy and ownership across release cycles.
- Daily hands-on use of AI-powered development and QA tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar) for code exploration, debugging, test generation, and root cause analysis.
- Advanced expertise with browser automation technologies, including Playwright or Puppeteer MCP, Chrome DevTools MCP, or similar browser-level debugging tools.
- Ability to independently explore and understand large React and Next.js codebases, identify testing gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to assess business impact, user experience, and technical risk beyond traditional bug reporting.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with incomplete specifications, continuous iteration, and changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with online marketplaces, complex user flows, or consumer-facing platforms is considered an advantage.
