Frontify – Senior Product Researcher
Helping brands turn ideas into impact
Frontify’s brand platform transforms how teams organise digital assets, collaborate on projects, and create engaging campaigns. Our people empower thousands of marketers and designers—including teams at Uber, Microsoft, Volkswagen, and Telefónica—to build engaging brands.
With headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and offices in London and New York City, we foster a vibrant culture built on creativity, collaboration, inclusion, and joy. We’re looking for explorers of the next frontier—are you ready to join us?
Your team
You’ll join the Mixed Methods Product Research team, reporting to the Director of Research. This group partners with product trios across the organisation, combining qualitative research and quantitative analysis to support better product decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with a Product Data Scientist as a peer.
Your mission
As a Senior Product Researcher at Frontify, you’ll help define the future of how brands build and operate by translating customer and market signals into actionable product insights.
This hybrid role blends two core disciplines:
- Rigorous product research, including qualitative and competitive analysis to discover meaningful opportunities.
- AI-driven workflows, automating repetitive tasks to accelerate research while maintaining scientific integrity. This includes designing tools, debugging processes, and personalising insights for self-service use by product teams.
Your impact is urgent and autonomous: you set the direction, uncover opportunities, and share findings early to foster quick learning and agile decision-making. Beyond reporting, you’ll craft compelling narratives—turning data, interviews, and synthesis into stories that resonate and drive change.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with product trios to execute decision-ready research that informs strategy and development.
- Lead qualitative research initiatives:
- Plan and conduct customer interviews and focus groups.
- Perform synthesis and structured analysis of findings.
- Validate insights with multiple data sources.
- Drive competitive and market research to uncover emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Build and scale AI-assisted workflows to enhance research operations, including:
- Recruitment pipelines.
- Automated synthesis and analysis.
- Self-service reporting tools that enable teams to answer common research questions independently.
- Ensure AI-generated outputs are grounded in evidence and rigor, using quality standards and validation processes.
- Elevate how research is shared and reused across the organisation, fostering transparency and multi-disciplinary learning.
- Present findings in ways that build genuine customer empathy, translating abstract data into visceral, actionable stories.
- Collaborate closely with:
- Product Managers (prioritise hypotheses, validate hypotheses).
- Designers (uncover human-centred pain points).
- Data Scientists and Engineers (connect insights with technical execution).
- Proactively identify efficiency opportunities to improve the speed, scalability, and impact of research.
- Balance multiple, multidisciplinary priorities while upholding high standards for quality, speed, and empirical robustness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
