Role Description

The Senior Production Manager will oversee end-to-end planning and execution of film and motion picture projects, ensuring that productions are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. This full-time, on-site role in London includes managing production schedules, coordinating crews and vendors, supervising logistics, and monitoring daily progress across shoots and post-production activities. The role involves collaborating with directors, producers, and creative teams to align production plans with artistic objectives, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements. The Senior Production Manager will track costs, prepare production reports, resolve issues on set, and continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and resource utilization.

  • Strong production management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for film and motion picture projects.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners, with the ability to lead and mentor production staff.
  • Proficiency in using production planning tools, project management software, and basic office applications to manage documentation and workflows.
  • Knowledge of film production processes, set operations, health and safety standards, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Production Manager or in a similar senior role within the film, television, or media industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in London and be available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for production schedules.
