We're partnering with an exciting and rapidly growing food manufacturing business to appoint a Production Manager to lead its kitchen operations during an exciting period of growth.

Having established a loyal customer base and ambitious expansion plans, the business is investing heavily in its production capability, people, and processes as it prepares for the next stage of its journey, including expansion into new markets.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced operational leader who enjoys improving processes, motivating teams and delivering high-quality production in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for ensuring the production operation runs safely, efficiently and consistently while continually improving performance across the kitchen.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the production and kitchen teams.
  • Managing daily production operations to ensure output, quality and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

  • Working alongside external food safety and compliance consultants to ensure the business remains audit-ready and continues to meet all required standards.
  • Managing equipment, facilities and health & safety standards across the production environment.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership, product development and commercial teams to support growth and new product launches.
  • Building robust operational processes capable of supporting increased production volumes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Previous exposure to HACCP, GMP, SALSA or BRC environments would be beneficial, but deep technical expertise is not essential, as the business works closely with specialist external consultants who provide ongoing support for compliance and accreditation activities.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll have genuine influence over how the production operation evolves.

You'll have the autonomy to improve processes, develop people, implement operational best practice and play a key role in preparing the business for its next phase of growth.
