We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Technician to join our manufacturing team at Steatite Antennas in Leominster.
This is a hands-on technical role with increased responsibility, combining precision assembly, testing and fault diagnosis with ownership of quality standards and process improvement activities. You will work on bespoke RF and electrical products used within demanding and mission-critical environments, supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and right-first-time builds.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical capability with problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and engineering specifications
- Assemble, inspect and test RF and electrical products to defined quality standards
- Diagnose faults, identify root causes and support corrective actions
- Support production quality, process compliance and continuous improvement activities
- Lead initial investigations into production or test failures
- Support new product introduction and process improvements
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved
- Maintain accurate production records and a safe, organised work environment

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within an electrical or mechanical manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on assembly and soldering skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience fault finding and problem solving within a production environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical activities
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Process-driven approach with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
