Role Summary

Join one of the fastest-growing teams in the agency as a Senior Programmatic Manager, taking ownership of newly won business and helping shape the programmatic strategy, planning and activation from day one. You'll work across Video, Display, YouTube, Connected TV, Audio and Digital Out of Home, partnering with client teams and senior stakeholders to deliver innovative, commercially-driven campaigns and play a key role in the continued evolution of the agency's omni-channel proposition.

The Role

Across the7stars, we have specialist teams in all channels, and we have recently brought together the Programmatic and Direct Buying teams into one omni-channel team to remain future-facing and drive greater collaboration. We're looking for a Senior Programmatic Manager to join one of the fastest-growing teams within the agency.

We're looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic programmatic specialist with a proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering best-in-class programmatic campaigns. The ideal person will fit the culture of the7stars - collaborative, positive, commercially minded and self-disciplined.

You'll join our growing team in a genuinely client-facing role, taking ownership of planning, activation, optimisation and reporting across multiple DSPs including DV360, The Trade Desk, Yahoo, Quantcast and Amazon.

You'll own client relationships from a programmatic perspective, supporting senior management on strategic initiatives and helping shape the continued evolution of the agency's omni-channel proposition. This is a unique opportunity to work across Digital Out of Home, YouTube, Connected TV, Audio, Video and Display, with the freedom to bring fresh thinking, challenge convention and drive innovation.

As a future-facing Activation team, we're building a genuinely holistic approach to planning and buying. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated programmatic specialist to play a key role in that journey.

What you’ll be doing

  • Be a leader in the team and across the agency in terms of how best to apply programmatic buying strategies. Set the standard across tactical execution, planning, reconciliation and all end-to-end process managed by the team.
  • Be responsible for managing some of the biggest clients in the agency on all things Programmatic, attending initial client briefings and providing feedback early on the planning process.
  • Line manage and mentor junior traders in the team, responsible for their career progression and training.
  • End to end programmatic account management from planning, set up, optimisation and reporting.
  • Deliver best in class and market leading programmatic media plans across multiple channels.
  • Drive innovation – we want to win awards for our clients so be creative.
  • Work closely with Client teams to ensure all plans are adhering to business objectives, the comms platform and key KPIs.
  • Assist with the management and delivery of audit guarantees across PRF Clients.
  • Drive the development of media owner relationships to ensure we are seeking out opportunities that are new to market within the programmatic sector.
  • Stay up to date with new trends and push innovation with your clients, contributing to wider digital testing roadmaps.
  • Confidently present analysis, updates and strategic recommendations in face-to-face meetings and calls.
  • Execute and deliver best in class PCAs across the agency.
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to the campaign QA process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the7stars

the7stars is unlike any other agency. The distinction started the day we launched in 2005 when we named ourselves after a pub, but more importantly when we made a promise that we were going to do things differently.

And this commitment has stuck with us. It guides how we work, how we think and how we treat one another and can be expressed in a single word.

Freedom.

Our Freedom philosophy lives across our entire business from people, product and planning. It means we plan & buy media how we want, develop careers how we want, take holiday when we need it, invent tools when we need them, give people a platform to speak up, question and express themselves freely – but more importantly it has allowed us to create an amazing place to work.
