Senior Programme Data Officer

Salary: £39,394 - £49,242 per annum

Hours/Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Hybrid between our Mariner House, Dartford office and working from home

Are you a highly organised data professional with a passion for accuracy, process improvement and delivering meaningful outcomes? We are looking for a Senior Programme Data Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of our development programme and post-sales services.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex data, maintaining robust systems and processes, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be helping to ensure our information is accurate, compliant and supports effective decision-making across the business.

About the role

As Senior Programme Data Officer, you will support the Programme Manager in delivering high-quality programme administration, data integrity and performance reporting. You'll take ownership of key development and post-sales processes, ensuring information across multiple systems is accurate, up to date and meets regulatory requirements.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine analytical skills, housing knowledge and operational expertise to make a real impact on the delivery of new homes and customer services.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the delivery of accurate performance reporting and data management across development and post-sales services.
  • Maintaining and monitoring data quality across core housing and development systems.
  • Managing rent sign-off processes for new build homes and relets.
  • Leading on Right to Acquire eligibility assessments.
  • Coordinating and submitting Historical Grant Notification Forms to Homes England.
  • Producing monthly sales forecasts and maintaining development programme information.
  • Creating and managing estates, blocks, budgets and development records within key systems.
  • Monitoring key business dashboards and exception reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting internal and external audit preparation and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Managing team workflows and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
  • Reviewing processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Deputising for the Programme Manager when required.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong experience of data analysis, reporting and administration.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using the wider Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of rent-setting processes within social housing.
  • Knowledge of the Capital Funding Guide and affordable housing grant requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of Right to Acquire eligibility.
  • Experience preparing for audits and maintaining strong governance standards.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively to deadlines

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience working within housing, development, asset management or property sectors.
  • Knowledge of housing management and development systems such as Sequel, CRM, ActiveH, Proactis or similar.
  • Understanding of Homes England, GLA OPS and CORE reporting requirements.
  • Experience identifying process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
