Senior Project & Program Manager
Are you ready to lead an ambitious business transformation program in Europe and help to shape the future of how Wolters Kluwer operates across multiple countries? At Wolters Kluwer, we are looking for a Senior Project & Program Manager to drive a large-scale transformation across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly visible, business-critical program that will modernize our systems, harmonize processes, and create the foundation for future growth across the region.
About Wolters Kluwer
Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information, software solutions, and services. We help professionals in areas such as tax, accounting, finance, compliance, and legal services make critical decisions every day through innovative technology and expert knowledge.
Within our Tax & Accounting Europe business, we are embarking on a multi-year transformation journey across Region West, covering Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK. This transformation will introduce a standardized European process template and modern technology landscape, including best in class ERP and CRM capabilities. The program will fundamentally transform how we manage products, commercial models, customer journeys, and revenue processes across the region.
About the Role
As a Senior Project & Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, alignment, and oversight across a portfolio of interconnected solution transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact, strategic and cross-functional role that goes beyond traditional project management. You will connect technology transformation with business objectives, manage a complex stakeholder network, and support senior-level decision-making across countries and functions. You will ensure that multiple programs and workstreams collectively deliver the right business outcomes in a timely manner.
Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity while driving progress across a highly matrixed organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate a large-scale business and technology transformation program across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK.
- Create and maintain a single, integrated view of multiple project streams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Identify, manage, and resolve dependencies, risks, issues, and competing priorities across initiatives.
- Act as the primary interface between local business teams, corporate program teams, and executive leadership.
- Drive stakeholder alignment across different countries, functions, and leadership levels.
- Provide clear and concise executive reporting on program status, achievements, risks, and decision points.
- Lead through influence, providing direction and coordination to project managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams without direct line management responsibility.
- Support business change and adoption efforts, helping teams successfully transition to new processes and technologies.
- Ensure governance, consistency, and effective decision-making across all transformation initiatives.
- Connect technology delivery to tangible business value and long-term organizational goals.
Your Profile
You are a seasoned program leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, bringing people together, and delivering meaningful transformation at scale.
What You'll Bring:
- 15+ years of professional experience, including significant experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives in large, international, highly matrixed organizations.
- Strong expertise in program management, governance, risk management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders.
- The ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and value.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive results through influence rather than direct authority.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
- Resilience and adaptability in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Experience working effectively with diverse international/multicultural teams and stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
