Job Description:
Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000
Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
Your Impact
Due to an internal promotion, the CS3 Project Controls teams are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who is experienced in project planning and scheduling. With this role you will be acting as an integral member of the Integrated Project Team to deliver project controls for the safe and successful delivery of the Integrated Project Teams strategy and projects. Due to the nature of our work this role is office/WFH hybrid.
What You’ll Do as Senior Project Controller
- Support the definition and creation of the WBS structure, OBS and identification of the SoW to engage functions.
- Define the Integrated Project Schedule, ensuring plan consistency and the correct allocation of resources.
- Measure performance through predefined KPIs (EV). Perform periodical analysis of the project KPIs, preparing the related reports to support the PM.
- Identify and manage schedule risks, apply Schedule Risk Analysis techniques, work proactively with the project team to create (What-if scenario planning) and implement mitigation plans and corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness. Participate in meetings with the project team to discuss project evolution/trend and performances.
- Review and update the integrated schedule including new activities and milestones.
- Apply resource scheduling techniques to optimise schedules, identify and resolve conflicts.
- Actively contribute to IPT and Project reviews through delivering the Project Controls inputs and leading on these aspects in the reviews.

What You’ll Bring
- Comprehensive and demonstrable Project Controls/ Planning experience, including life cycle management, change management, and EVM.
- Expertise in one or more Planning/ERP Tools (ideally including Primavera P6 and/or SAP).
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders, using data and analysis to support line of reasoning.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all functions across the Business Area/ IPT in order to influence project activities.
- Commercial and financial acumen.

An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
