Senior Project Controls Engineer
Senior Project Controls Engineer Opportunity – Supporting Sizewell C (Civil Works Alliance)
About the Role
Shape the UK’s energy future and play a pivotal role in constructing Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt low-carbon power station capable of supplying electricity to 6 million homes for 60+ years. Based within the Marine and Tunnels Section, this Senior Project Controls Engineer position ensures compliance with safety, quality, time, and cost parameters while delivering project controls aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Controls Senior Engineer will:

Develop and execute the project controls strategy within agreed constraints, incorporating:
- Programme, productivity, and time-and-cost controls
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Other integrated control methodologies

Collaborate with leadership (reports to the Project Controls Lead) within the PMO Function of the M&T (Marine & Tunnels) section.

- Enforce strict adherence to quality, safety, time, and budgetary requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
✅ 8–10+ years’ experience in project controls on complex/megaprojects, ideally for a tier 1 contractor.
✅ Familiarity with APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner, or equivalent certification.
✅ Undergraduate degree with a relevant discipline in engineering, project management, or related field.
✅ Hands-on expertise in using contract, cost, and EVM systems (e.g., PRISM, Unifier, InEight).
