Help Shape the UK’s Energy Future
Supporting Sizewell C | Civil Works Alliance (CWA)
As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), you will play a pivotal role in constructing Sizewell C—a 3.2-gigawatt power station delivering low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and securing the UK’s energy future for at least 60 years. This position will be within the Marine and Tunnels Section.
What You’ll Do
The Senior Project Controls Engineer will:
- Deliver the project controls strategy within agreed constraints, covering programme, productivity, time, and cost—incorporating Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Ensure all controls adhere to safety, quality, time, and cost parameters to meet project objectives.
- Report directly to the Project Controls Lead as part of the Marine & Tunnels (M&T) section within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Qualifications & Experience
✔ Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in project controls on complex/mega infrastructure projects and programs, ideally with leading tier 1 contractors. ✔ Certifications required:
- APM PMQ
- APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner (or equivalent). ✔ Undergraduate degree in a relevant field. ✔ Hands-on experience in contract management, cost tracking, and EVM systems (e.g., PRISM, Unifier, InEight).
