Work Scope
Addison Project PLC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (PSC Contractor) with UK onshore experience in EPCM projects to support upcoming Process Sector Design Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate design engineering across EC&I, Mechanical/Piping, Process Safety, Civil & Structural teams
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with customer requirements
- Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals, defining specifications, and generating technical work packages
- Provide reporting, client liaison, and contractual scope management
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage subcontractors and verify their progress
- Participate in onsite experience for start-up and commissioning (desirable)

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven experience in EPCM project engineering (modest-to-large onshore projects in chemical/petrochemical sectors)
- COMAH site familiarity (Control of Major accident Hazards)
- Compliance knowledge of rules, standards, and best practices
- HNC/D or above in Engineering or a relevant discipline
- Strong planning, organisation, and detailed project management skills
- Ability to coordinate design teams across FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed design stages
- Client-facing with excellent communication
Desirable:
- Site experience in start-up and commissioning
- Understand customer value drivers and consequences of failure/cost risk
- Note: Not an IT/Digital role
