Senior Project Engineer

Who We Are We are Malin Marine Consultants (part of Malin Group). We offer a range of specialist technical services across a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines, including stability, structural and mooring analyses, feasibility, concept and FEED solutions. About The Role As Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of technical work packages, managing technical resources, and contributing to the efficient delivery of our projects. Your role will include project management, planning and reporting, engagement with stakeholders, preparation and review of project deliverables, and technical leadership. You will liaise with clients and subcontractors, attend project meetings, and take responsibility for work packages that will contribute to effective execution of complex projects.

In addition, you will contribute to quality assurance processes, lead improvements in internal technical procedures, provide training and mentoring to graduate engineers, and support business development through client engagement and representation.

Skills And Experience We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Project Engineer with a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and creativity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic engineering environment. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or have equivalent industry experience, with proven ability to manage complex projects, work collaboratively across teams, and drive high-quality engineering solutions from concept through to completion. Skills that will help you in the role: Strong technical expertise in a marine-related engineering design discipline Proven project management skills, including planning, coordination, and delivery of complex engineering projects Advanced problem-solving and creative thinking abilities to develop innovative and efficient solutions Leadership and team collaboration skills to guide multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client and team interaction Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Where You Will Be Working Malin Marine Consultants are based at the iconic South Rotunda building on the South bank of the River Clyde.
