About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our engineering team in a project delivery-focused role.
The role is centered on coordinating and delivering projects, working closely with senior engineers and technical specialists to ensure high-quality outcomes.
You will typically act as a Project Manager or experienced engineering resource, taking ownership of delivery from proposal stage through to completion and client close-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of geotechnical offshore engineering projects, ensuring time, budget and quality targets are met
- Act as a key client interface during project delivery, reporting and coordination
- Manage several project scopes and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs
- Prepare and manage proposals, budgets, schedules and risk registers
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, other offices) where required with the support of seniors.
- Support technical delivery by working with specialist geotechnical engineers and geoscientists
- Ensure compliance with QA, HSE and company management systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, digital workflows and project delivery tools

What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience in offshore engineering (offshore wind, oil & gas, subsea cables or marine construction)
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery and strong geotechnical analysis skills
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and risks
- Experience in the use of specialist geotechnical packages, e.g. Plaxis, Abacus, Itasca suite
- Programming experience in Python (data handling, automation or engineering tools)
Desirable
- Experience in subsea foundations, databases and AI tools
- Experience supporting or managing proposals and tenders
- Chartered status (or working towards it)

- LPA analysis of offshore jack up structures
- Familiarity with software development platforms (e.g. Azure DevOps) and version control workflows
- Experience contributing to digital tools, scripts or engineering workflows
