We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to act as the strategic link between our customers and our internal engineering, technical, service, and operations teams. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of major projects across the UK and Europe—ensuring solutions are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting exceptional customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will drive safety, quality, and operational excellence.
This highly demanding and dynamic role combines technical expertise, project leadership, stakeholder management, and operational delivery. Working closely with customers, site teams, technical specialists, logistics, training, and support functions across multiple countries, your role will ensure smooth project transitions and seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the principal point of contact for customers on major projects.
- Understand and align with customer requirements, challenges, and project objectives.
- Provide proactive technical guidance, communication, and timely issue resolution.
Project Leadership and Coordination
- Lead the planning and execution of service and engineering activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including:
- Technical support teams
- Field engineers
- Logistics teams
- Training specialists
- Operations specialists
Operational Excellence
- Oversee site preparation, maintenance planning, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and in-house site requirements.

Continuous Improvement
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective action plans for project challenges.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, service delivery, and customer satisfaction in line with operational excellence principles.
Essential Requirements
- Preferably a degree-qualified professional with a background in mechanical, civil, or construction engineering.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, lifting solutions, or construction machinery.
- Significant experience within engineering, project management, customer support, or construction-related environments.
- Experience supporting major project sites or international projects.
- Ability to influence and lead teams effectively within a matrix organisation.
- Fluent written and spoken French (in addition to fluent English).
