The Role
Live Events
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive who will provide full logistical event management support to new and existing clients with a key responsibility for delegate management.
You will be working across multiple accounts and workstreams undertaking a range of projects including incentive travel, team building events, conferences, award events, hospitality, exhibitions, and virtual and hybrid delivery.
Whilst primarily a support role for larger events, you will be given opportunities to take responsibility and manage smaller scale events from start to finish.

The Right Fit
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in event management, agency account management, live events or experiential marketing
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience coordinating event logistics from planning through to onsite delivery
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and client communications
- Experience managing delegate registration and attendee communications
- Strong budgeting skills with the ability to monitor costs and profitability
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Proven ability to problem solve and troubleshoot effectively during live events
- Confident managing suppliers, freelancers and third-party partners
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within wider project teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Willingness to travel and deliver events onsite in the UK and internationally
- Understanding of data protection requirements and event compliance processes
- Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences

Desirable Skills
- Experience using Cvent or similar event registration and delegate management platforms
- Experience delivering incentive travel programmes
- Knowledge of virtual and hybrid event delivery
- Experience producing event reporting, data analysis and ROI evaluations
- Understanding of health & safety, risk assessments and event compliance requirements
- Experience supporting new business pitches, RFP responses and proposal development
- Experience working with international suppliers and venues
- Knowledge of the exhibitions, hospitality and corporate events sectors
- Understanding of sustainability and ESG considerations within events
- Experience mentoring or coordinating junior team members and project executives
Responsibilities
Large Events
- Support the Live team in delivering end-to-end logistical event management for large and complex events
- Take ownership of the delegate management process using the Cvent platform, including registration sites, communications and reporting
- Manage client and delegate enquiries and troubleshoot issues before and during events
- Liaise with clients and creative teams to develop event concepts and communications
- Support the delivery of event collateral including itineraries, teasers, posters and delegate communications
- Ensure legal, insurance, health & safety and risk assessment requirements are met
- Support compliance with GDPR and data protection processes
- Research, source and negotiate with suppliers to secure best value and maintain project budgets
- Coordinate travel documentation and delegate materials
- Manage production of event print materials including badges, signage, menus and working folders
- Oversee onsite delegate registration processes and manage freelance staff and hostesses
- Support event breakdown, venue clearance and supplier management
- Complete post-event reporting, data analysis and ROI evaluation

Smaller Events
- Take ownership of small to medium-sized events from briefing through to completion
- Manage client relationships and programme development
- Lead client planning calls and establish project timelines and milestones
- Produce, manage and track event budgets and profitability
- Deliver events onsite and manage all project personnel
Event BAU
- Maintain and update Live team documentation and processes
- Work collaboratively with Creative and wider agency teams to manage client briefs and resource requirements
- Provide onsite support for UK and international events
- Act as a key client-facing representative during event delivery
- Support new business activity through research, pitch deck preparation and budget development
- Stay informed of industry trends and share learnings with the wider team
- Attend trade shows, supplier events and familiarisation trips
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Attend client meetings and support business development activities
- Complete daily time logging and project administration
