Senior Project Manager – Service Desk Transformation & Cloud Transition Location: London (2–3 days per week) Contract: Interim / Contract IR35: Inside and Outside IR35 candidates considered Rate: £500 - £800pd (Depending on if Outside or Inside IR35)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead the outsourcing and transformation of my client's Service Desk function while supporting the transition to a new Cloud Support Partner as part of a wider cloud and data centre exit strategy.
Key Responsibilities Lead the transition of an in-house Service Desk to a Managed Service Provider (MSP). Drive service desk transformation, including automation, ServiceNow, and digital employee experience improvements. Manage the selection and mobilisation of a Cloud Support Partner. Oversee and support on-premise to Azure cloud migration activities, ensuring risks, dependencies, and operational impacts are identified and managed throughout the transition. Provide programme governance, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight. Engage with senior technology leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Essential Experience Proven experience outsourcing a Service Desk or End User Support function to an MSP. Strong programme management experience within large-scale IT transformation environments. Experience supporting on-premise to Azure cloud migration and transformation programmes. Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills. Ability to operate confidently with both technical teams and C-suite executives.

Desirable Experience with offshore service providers, particularly in India. Background in ServiceNow, digital workplace transformation, and data centre exit programmes.
