The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a customer-facing Senior Project Manager role with line management responsibility.

You will manage a portfolio of technical projects end-to-end, ensuring strong governance, clear communication and delivery against cost, quality, and time objectives.

A key focus is building strong customer relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, and overseeing third-party suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver multiple complex projects using structured project management governance (risk management, reporting, quality control, and issue resolution)
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans including budgets, milestones, risk registers, and stakeholder plans
  • Manage project scope, change control, and commercial performance
  • Track and control project budgets and expenditure
  • Lead internal teams, technical resources, and third-party suppliers
  • Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders and engineering teams
  • Manage supplier performance, deliverables, and timelines
  • Agree commercial milestones and support timely invoicing
  • Escalate delivery risks appropriately
  • Ensure projects align with company quality standards and ISO requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with proven experience delivering multiple complex technical projects in high-pressure environments.

You will bring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Essential Criteria

  • Recognised formal Project Management qualification is essential — APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent
  • APM PPQ and/or Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) accreditation would be highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple complex technical or engineering projects
  • Strong commercial and financial management experience, including project budget ownership and cost control
  • Advanced Microsoft Project skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing technical resources
  • Strong customer, supplier, and stakeholder management capability
  • Background within a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent governance, communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills

Highly Desirable

  • Experience using Microsoft Planner and/or Dynamics 365
  • ERP systems experience within engineering or manufacturing environments
