Senior Project Manager
We are a small and dynamic Central London based consultancy, specialising in capital and development project management. Due to our continuing expansion, we are looking to recruit a recent graduate in project management or with a construction-related degree to assist and support the project management team with the delivery of new build and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
As an employer, everything we do is guided by our values: Quality and reliability, proactive and creative, agile and flexible, and entrepreneurial and dynamic.
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager with 5+ years' experience in the construction, development, or property consultancy sectors. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading projects from inception through to completion, with particular strength in project planning, programme management, design coordination, and planning-stage delivery. We are looking for someone who is confident managing multidisciplinary design teams, driving project programmes, coordinating stakeholders, and developing practical, buildable solutions from the earliest stages of a project. Experience working on refurbishment and new-build developments in a client-side, consultancy, or development management environment would be highly advantageous.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Project Planning, Scheduling & Design Coordination
- Prepare and review detailed project programmes and construction schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Work with design teams in developing buildable, cost-effective design solutions.
- Coordinate and chair design, technical, and progress meetings; represent AMR Consult and manage effective communication across teams.
- Prepare and submit planning applications and support funding submissions as required.
- Supervise procurement and interpretation of site surveys prior to construction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
