Job Opportunity: Senior Project Manager (Fixed-Term, 6-Month Contract)

Location: Ashby, UK Workstream: Business Development & Operations Delivery

About the Role

Our team in Ashby is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive the launch of new business opportunities and critical strategic projects across all of CEVA’s product lines. You will oversee end-to-end project delivery, aligning initiatives with operational excellence, from initiation to completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional business projects and continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
  • Manage implementations of new customer contracts, business wins, and contract renewals from planning to delivery.
  • Support strategic enhancements across existing operations and business units as needed.
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and methodology-compliant deliveries (aligned with CEVA’s PM framework).
  • Provide post-implementation support to sustain project outcomes and deliver long-term business benefits.
  • Generate regular updates and reports for senior leadership, including: Head of PMO & Business Unit Directors.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team, crafting presentations to seize new opportunities.
  • Foster client relationships, delivering transparent progress updates and critical milestones.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks—managing issues and change requests throughout the lifecycle.
  • Capture lessons learned and promote best practices within the UK & Ireland PMO team.
  • Align with Global PMO to enhance reporting and refine project management methodologies.
  • Deliver professional presentations—both internally and to external stakeholders.

Your Profile

We seek a self-driven project manager with a strong track record in business transformation or operational excellence, ideally within 3PL, logistics, or supply chain. Your responsibilities would include:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, budget, timelines, risks, and resources.
  • Leadership in developing project teams and steering them toward successful outcomes.
  • Stakeholder management—building trust with both CEVA leadership and external partners, while aligning on expectations.
  • Problem-solving & decision-making skills critical to adapting to challenges.
  • Key competencies:
    • Ability to produce project plans, reports, and presentations.
    • Technical awareness of warehouse and transport operations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., TeamCenter, SharePoint, or Agile frameworks).
  • Preferable qualifications/experience:
    • PRINCE2 or another recognised project management certification.
    • Leadership training or experience managing a PMO function.
    • Advocated for change management strategies.
