About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects, with a particular emphasis on EV charging stations. This role combines project management expertise with electrical infrastructure knowledge, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing:

  • Design-build construction
  • Field execution
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Utility interfacing

Key Responsibilities

  • Construction Oversight: Manage all phases of construction, including:

    • Site preparation
    • Installation
    • Commissioning
    • Closeout
  • Project Planning: Develop and track:

    • Schedules
    • Budgets
    • Resources To ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Field Coordination: Direct:

    • Subcontractors
    • Trades
    • Vendors Conduct site walks and oversee daily operations
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with:

    • Clients
    • Utilities
    • Vendors
    • AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction)
    • Internal leadership Align project execution with requirements
  • Risk Management: Proactively:

    • Identify project-related risks
    • Implement mitigation strategies
  • Quality Control: Review and verify:

    • Drawings
    • Submittals
    • As-builts Ensure design meets engineering and client-specific specifications
  • Financial Accountability:

    • Manage contracts and vendor agreements
    • Track construction costs and margins

  • Reporting: Utilize project-related platforms to provide:
    • Dashboards
    • Progress updates
    • Reports to leadership and clients

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Construction Management
    • Business Administration
    • Project Management
    • Related field

Experience

  • 7–12 years of:
    • Project/construction management experience
    • Focused on:
      • Electrical infrastructure
      • Renewable energy
      • Commercial/industrial construction

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with:
    • EV (Electric Vehicle) charging systems
    • Power distribution
    • Microgrids
    • Utility coordination

Certification

  • Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or equivalent

Tools & Technology

  • Proficiency in:
    • SiteTracker
    • Oracle Unifier
    • Project scheduling platforms (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Procore and other project management platforms

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 25% of the time)
