Senior Project Manager
Location: Midlands practice, based in Birmingham or Nottingham
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing Midlands practice and lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value schemes across key sectors, including:
- Commercial offices
- Industrial/logistics
- Aviation infrastructure
- Public sector programmes
This role combines:
- Project leadership
- Client relationship management
- Commercial accountability
- The opportunity to shape regional delivery and play a visible role in our projects
Your Responsibilities
- Lead projects through the full lifecycle, applying best-practice PM methodology
- Act as the primary client interface and trusted advisor
- Oversee project commercial performance, governance, and resourcing
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive collaborative behaviours across stakeholders
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members
- Manage procurement strategies, tender processes, and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis systems, standards, and policies
- Support business development and contribute to winning new work

About You
- Degree qualified with significant relevant experience
- Chartered professional status (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, CHPP or equivalent)
- Proven track record of delivering projects across public and/or private sectors
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder environments
- Commercially astute, with experience in managing project financials
- Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts and procurement strategies

Additional Information
Security Clearance
- This role may require security clearance, and offers will be conditional on obtaining the relevant level.
- UKSV will process vetting, requiring proof of UK residency for 5+ years.
