Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of a strategic, multi-geography MENA-focused project within IN2. The postholder is accountable for key project deliverables, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and scope; development of communications strategies and their implementation; and key account management.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the trusted partner to key client stakeholders (key account management).
- Set the strategic direction of project/s, ensuring alignment with client priorities while securing IN2 value.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully and profitably deliver contracted projects within timescales, scope and budgets.
- Allocate and approve project resources (e.g., people, equipment) and manage sub-contractors.
- Identify and manage project risks via the Project RAID log.
- Embed conflict- and gender-sensitive structures and controls within projects.
- Provide regular project updates to internal (including IN2 C-Suite) and external stakeholders.
- Network with clients to identify contract expansions or expansions of current projects; actively seek new business opportunities and assist IN2’s Business Development team when needed.
- Act as Line or Operational Manager for junior staff as necessary.
- Be prepared to deputise for more senior Programme Department staff when requested.
- Ensure compliance with IN2’s cyber and physical security protocols and policies.

Role Competencies
- Leadership: Expertise in inspiring, motivating, and directing multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams without line authority, fostering high accountability and performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience as a relationship builder, with skill in managing, briefing, and navigating both internal stakeholders and third-party clients.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience in independently managing multi-million-pound project budgets, including forecasting, variance tracking, and capital/operational expenditure.
- Language: Bilingual with English + 1 (preference for Arabic or Eastern European, but not essential).
- MREL: Thorough understanding of Monitoring, Research, Evaluation, and Learning (MREL) methods, tools, and techniques.
- Self-Starter: Adaptability, flexibility, and initiative to drive projects forward independently.
Mandatory Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent + 10+ years’ experience in project delivery and/or communication campaign execution.
- Extensive experience in geo-political and socio-economic issues, including global security and regional MENA exposure from personal or professional context.
- Be eligible to work in the UK and meet specific nationality and residency requirements.
