Senior Project Manager - Remote

A rapidly scaling energy business leading the UK’s battery storage market is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive the delivery of utility-scale Beneficial Electricity Storage System (BESS) projects.

With a strong project pipeline and expansion plans, this role offers the opportunity to join a business carving a significant role in flexible power and energy storage infrastructure across the UK. The company is seeking a candidate with practical experience delivering large-scale projects, covering all stages from pre-construction to build, commissioning, and final project handover. Experience in Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), project contracting, or site management is highly preferred.

About the Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of end-to-end utility-scale BESS project development, ensuring:

  • Management of project timelines from constructibility planning through energisation
  • Oversight of EPC contractors, principal subcontractors, and external stakeholders to drive risk management, safety compliance, and project delivery alignment with budget targets
  • Close collaboration with internal teams, including project development, engineering, and commercial, as well as consultants and supply chain partners
  • Scaling effective project delivery across an expanding BESS asset portfolio in the UK

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
