Typical Activities
- Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Delivery, and Leadership teams, the Senior Project Manager will lead and coordinate complex R&D project delivery while maintaining strong client engagement and operational oversight.
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver customer-funded R&D projects
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements and translate them into delivery plans
- Conduct regular project reviews to track progress against schedules and milestones
- Produce monthly progress reports using corporate tools with evidence-based summaries
- Support bid, proposal, and project planning activities
- Manage project finances, risks, and resources effectively
- Maintain and contribute to the Resource Demand Plan
- Collaborate with Technical Leads to align delivery objectives
- Participate in team stand-ups and provide progress updates
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and urgent delivery priorities

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills
- Experience with project planning, risk management, and financial oversight
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time
- Experience with requirements capture and analysis
- Strong problem-solving and issue management capabilities
- Experience using Jira for ticket and backlog management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
Desirable
- Technical background
- Experience working in cyber security environments
- APMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Experience with supplier management
- Knowledge of skills mapping and resource alignment

Qualifications & Eligibility
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in project delivery; and
- Be a British citizen; and
- Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - SC level clearance.
