Within our Capital Delivery team, we're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join us and play a key role in delivering some of the most complex and high-profile projects across our AMP programme.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of a portfolio of complex capital projects from concept through to completion.
Working closely with internal teams, framework partners, contractors, and key stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll provide leadership across multidisciplinary project teams whilst driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing large-scale capital projects from design through to delivery and handover.
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed business objectives, programme timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
- Leading project governance, risk management, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing NEC contracts and commercial performance across project delivery.
- Driving a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing throughout all project activities.
- Supporting the development and mentoring of project management colleagues across the wider team.
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement that deliver value for our customers and business.

What You'll Bring To The Role
We're looking for an experienced project professional with a proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects.
You'll be a confident leader who can build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive project performance in a fast-paced environment.
You Will Ideally Have
- Significant experience managing complex capital projects and programmes.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contract management.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
- A full UK driving licence.
