Senior Project Manager
🚀 Contract/Interim Project Manager Required (GDS – Digital Transformation) – Remote First
Rate: £500 – £550 per day (Outside 1R35)
Duration: 6 months initial, likely to extend to 12–18 months
My client is renowned for delivering highly advanced digital transformation programmes across complex environments. They’re widely seen as leaders in building modern, user-centred digital services – not just incremental change, but meaningful transformation that fundamentally shifts organisational operations.

About the Role
- Join a world-class digital transformation programme requiring hands-on delivery expertise
- Thrives in complex, ambiguous environments and translates them into clear, actionable plans
- Balances business outcomes with technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of a defined service/workstream within a major transformation
- Drive alignment, pace, and accountability across Product, Design, Business Analysis (BA), and Engineering
- Manage plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance, ensuring adherence to structured processes
- Lead stakeholder engagement with service owners, operational teams, and senior programme leadership
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and key delivery ceremonies
- Balance delivery speed with quality, assurance, and public sector compliance

Essential Requirements
You must have strong GDS (Government Digital Service) experience
Location & Flexibility
- Home-based, with occasional travel to the client site required
