Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager - Construction (Large-Scale RC Frame & Infrastructure Projects)

Location

Somerset (with project delivery in Netherlands)

Salary & Benefits

  • £110,000 - £120,000 per annum + comprehensive package

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team across RC Frame, Data Centre, and infrastructure projects. Your executive management will ensure timely delivery, budget compliance, quality, client satisfaction, and safety compliance—while contributing to ambitious, modern industrial development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership
    • Oversee a team of project engineers, site managers, and subcontractors for flawless delivery on time and within budget.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgeting, aligned with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Risk & Compliance Management
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure success.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Stakeholder Relationships
    • Maintain strong client, stakeholder, and subcontractor relationships, resolving issues proactively.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive innovative processes by applying lessons learned to enhance future project delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership as Senior Project Manager (or equivalent) in UK/EU main contractor environment.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale industrial projects (>£100M budget).
  • Deep understanding of construction PM methodologies (SAPs, CDM, BIM, etc.).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams under pressure.
  • Regulatory proficiency (CDM Regulations, PHECC standards, HES guidance).
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, CIOB, APPM, or degree in Construction/Engineering).
