Senior Project Manager – Yorkshire (Infrastructure)
Our Yorkshire team is seeking experienced Project Managers looking to progress into senior roles, supporting industry-leading infrastructure projects across transportation, utilities and highways.

Main Purpose of the Role
This position requires a Senior Project Manager to:
- Lead end-to-end project management for large or complex infrastructure projects.
- Act as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met while meeting time, cost, and quality standards.
Scope
- Typical project scope ranges from £10m to £25m.
- Advisory roles (e.g., urban regeneration funding) may cover larger project scopes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management Core Tasks
- Strategic Advisory: Provide guidance on approaches to achieve client objectives during project inception.
- Requirements Definition: Collaborate on defining project needs and success criteria (time/cost/technical).
- Governance & Systems: Establish robust project governance, processes, and documentation (e.g., master plans).
- Budget & Procurement: Develop and maintain budgets, control costs, and procure external resources.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams while fostering collaboration.
- Risk & Change Management: Identify, mitigate risks, and manage change control processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with clients, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and risk avoidance.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Prepare progress updates, KPI management, and financial monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree Qualified (preferably Civil Engineering).
- Proven track record on large-scale projects (£100M+).
- NEC: ECC Project Manager accreditation (preferred).
- Chartered qualifications from bodies such as:
- ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers)
- APM (Association for Project Management)
- RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
SOX Control Responsibilities Some SOX compliance tasks may apply; adherence to these standards is essential.
