About the Role
As part of our ambitious expansion across the EMEA region, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of high-value and multi-million-pound projects. Our UK portfolio spans a diverse range of work.
This role involves:
- Leading large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects or collaborating within broader teams to execute key elements of major initiatives.
- Strengthening our Project Management capability during a period of significant growth.

The UK water industry is undergoing historic investment, with AMP8 (2025–2030)—the largest capital programme in its history—planned at £96–£104 billion (a 77% increase from AMP7).
We are extensively involved in AMP8 frameworks, collaborating with major water companies (e.g., Severn Trent, United Utilities, Wessex Water) across:
- Design-build alliances
- Specialist design development
- Long-term professional services to 2030+
- Desalination programmes (as Technical Partner)
Our Senior Project Managers play a critical role in risk management, cost certainty, schedule adherence, and quality assurance over complex, multi-party frameworks.

Core Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager will:
- Oversee large, complex, high-risk projects or frameworks, ensuring delivery on time, to budget, and to quality standards.
- Integrate multi-disciplinary teams to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Translate client requirements into robust deliverables for complex frameworks.
- Manage all commercial and financial aspects, including accurate billing and contract compliance.
- Lead scheduling and workflow — monitoring execution of full projects, programmes, or frameworks.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Develop cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules for bids and ongoing work.
- Align own tasks with broader project priorities.
- Contribute to process improvement—developing tools and methodologies for effective delivery.
- Enforce adherence to company standards.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Strengthen business development via long-term client relationships and repeat engagements.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Qualification: Relevant degree (or equivalent experience).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative environments.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven experience navigating project scopes, risks, and financial outcomes.
- Relationship Building: Ability to influence key stakeholders and maintain client trust.
- Project Experience: Track record of achieving performance targets and delivering high-stakes projects as a Senior Project Manager.
- Leadership: Experience in mentoring engineers or junior professionals.
- Learning Agility: Proactive growth mindset—embracing challenges and experimentation.
- Problem-Solving: Expertise in managing complex, multi-discipline projects.

Working Location
Hybrid role:
- An average of 3 days per week at either:
