Build the future of one of Scotland's most iconic sporting venues.

At Scottish Rugby, this isn't just project management. It's the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of high-profile capital, infrastructure, lifecycle and remedial projects that shape the experience of thousands of fans, players, employees and visitors every year.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex environments, can successfully juggle multiple large-scale projects, and enjoys turning ambitious plans into reality.

The Opportunity

As Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied and challenging programme of works across Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Hive Stadium and the wider Scottish Rugby campus. From infrastructure upgrades and capital investments to essential lifecycle and remedial works, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

This is a role for someone who can confidently operate in a fast-paced, live-event environment—balancing operational demands, managing competing priorities and bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.

What You Will Be Doing

You'll lead multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing every stage of delivery from initial concept through to handover. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex capital, infrastructure and facilities projects.
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, risk management and programme delivery.
  • Coordinate consultants, engineers, contractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Drive decision-making, governance and project reporting.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, costs and variations.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and CDM requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the projects team, helping prioritise workload and deliver results.

What We’re Looking For

You'll be a highly organised and commercially minded project professional with a track record of delivering multiple complex projects in challenging operational environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
