Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager (Web) – Liverpool (Hybrid: 4 Days Remote)

Location: Liverpool – Hybrid (4 days remote)

Salary: Up to £60k (DOE)


A Liverpool-based digital consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Tempo, Confluence) tooling experience to take on complex digital projects while working in a growing, forward-thinking agency.

About the Role

This position involves collaborating with major enterprise brands on intricate digital platform projects, including:

  • CMS (Content Management Systems)
  • DXP (Digital Experience Platforms)
  • Optimisation

The company is expanding its web and optimisation services and integrating AI across business functions, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys driving improvement in project delivery processes and client engagements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Inherit and manage established client relationships
  • Successfully deliver newly won projects
  • Help improve project delivery standards across the organisation
  • Work with an experienced PMO and leadership team to elevate process maturity
  • Provide strong commercial and stakeholder management expertise
  • Oversee multiple concurrent high-value digital projects

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Senior Project Manager experience within a digital agency or consultancy
  • Expertise in delivering enterprise websites, CMS, or digital platform projects
  • Strong project delivery, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent complex projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Jira, Tempo, and Confluence (Atlassian Suite)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Deep understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

Desirable

  • Qualifications like PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent (not mandatory but advantageous)
  • Experience with Optimizely or Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs)
  • Track record of improving PMO processes or delivery standards within an agency
  • Leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and project outcomes
